Ingredients
Wooden skewers
1 onion quartered
2 limes
3 bell peppers, cut in 1.5 inch squares
1 pound cubed chicken breast
1 pound shrimp, deveined & peeled
2 tsp salt (1 tsp per protein)
2 TBSP garlic powder (1 tbsp per protein)
2 TBSP chili powder (1 tbsp per protein)
2 tsp cumin (1 tsp per protein)
Directions:
- (Soak the skewers in water for 15 minutes)
- Place each meat in a gallon-sized plastic bag and cover with the spices and juice from 1 lime in each bag. Close the bag and shake until evenly coated.
- Prepare skewers by layering onion, bell pepper & protein. (Do not mix the proteins on the same skewer as they have different cook times.)
- Grill the skewers over medium-high heat, flipping once until the protein is done.
